The American Red Cross Wilderness Remote First Aid course is the first curriculum to set a national standard for wilderness first aid. The American Red Cross Wilderness Remote First Aid course is offered as a standalone course or combined with Adult CPR and AED.
Program highlights include:
•16-hour course, with adult CPR/AED training as a prerequisite
•Adult CPR/AED training also offered in conjunction with WRFA course
•Follows Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines established for BSA
•Ideal for employees and others in remote environments an hour or more from EMS response
•Offers enhanced content and topics to meet OSHA Best Practices for Workplace First Aid Training Programs
